The old saying of an ounce of prevention can be your child’s lifesaver should they become missing. Do you have a plan in place to allow the authorities to take action immediately or would they have to wait for you to compile the information they need to help find your child? Many parents today are so busy with just making ends meet, paying bills, keeping food on the table not to mention juggling work duties, the boss and outside school activities. When in the world would they be able to find time to get everything together?
The National Center For Missing & Exploited Children tries to make it easier for you by providing information that would help.
They want to help you protect your children by teaching them to be safer and make smart decisions. The best way to combat sexual exploitation and abduction is to prevent it. Here are just a few of their recommendations.
- Help keep your child safer.
- Know what to do if your child is missing.
